First off, I know it is past the end of the night…I’ve been trying to post every day before nidnight but tonight I was engrossed in conversation with some friends and could not stop the conversation until now. Yes, it was that good.
The thing that kept me going was how open the conversation was – both of the men who were talking were openly sharing their vulnerabilities with each other which is something that I have not experienced many times in my life and it was very refreshing. For me, the more people show their vulnerabilities, the easier it is for me to break down the wall that keeps me from sharing mine as I think that mine will overwhelm others like it does me at times. If I have learned nothing else, I have learned that sharing and healing go hand in hand. All that really matters is if you trust that person enough to open up and share your darkness and by sharing theirs you don’t feel so alone.
Many friends and family have showed vulnerability to me in recent weeks – and it makes me feel better. I hope it does for them as well.
More tomorrow.

This is so great to hear! Don’t be afraid to keep sharing your vulnerabilities. I remember when I first started sharing them after my ex and I split the second and final time, I was on the verge of a breakdown and just needed to talk to people, but I thought oh my God people are gonna think I’m crazy However, I needed to get it out so I decided I am just gonna share anyway. turns out no one thought I was crazy, in fact, People started opening up about their own vulnerabilities, what they had been through and a lot of them were dealing with issues similar to mine. It really helped I am not alone and it’s also helped my healing( and hopefully theirs)so yeah, keep that up! I think it’s awesome you are doing this blog. i’ve really enjoyed reading it. It’s very inspiring!
